Biography
Dr. Suprita A. Tawde is currently a Research Scientist at Akorn Pharmaceuticals Inc., Vernon Hills, IL. She did her Masters in Pharmaceutics from Mumbai University, India and Ph.D. at Mercer University, Atlanta, GA. She has extensive research experience in various pharmaceuticals dosage forms including injectables, topical, transdermal and ophthalmic formulations. She has done formulation research on small as well as large molecules. She also worked on microparticulate delivery for vaccine and protein administration. She has published her research in various international journals. She continues to explore the field of pharmaceutics for generic as well as branded medications. Along with her active research, she also serves as a reviewer for various international journals.
