Biography

Dr Shashideep Singhal received his medical degree at University of Delhi. Thereafter Dr Singhal joined Chicago Medical School for his residency training followed by fellowship in Gastroenterology and hepatology at The Brookyn Hospital Center/New York Presbyterian Healthcare System in New York. He is currently a faculty at Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He has been extensively involved in clinical and translational research in the field of liver diseases. His research has focused on molecular mechanisms and targets in Acute Liver Failure. Dr Singhal has received several awards from national and international associations such as European Association for the Study of Liver and American College of Gastroenterology. Dr Singhal has published several original and review articles in the field of digestive and liver disorders.
