Biography
Sem Genini is a research investigator at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine, Philadelphia, USA, after having been (from 2006 to 2008) a post-doc scientist at the Parco Tecnologico Padano, Lodi, Italy. He graduated (2002) in Animal Sciences with specialization in biotechnology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETHZ), Switzerland, where he also completed a PhD (2006).
Research Interest
To develop gene therapies to treat or prevent diseases in animals but also in humans by translational research.
