Biography

Dr. Rodolfo Miralles received his D.D.S. degree in 1975 from the University of Chile. He is a full professor and chief of the Oral Physiology Laboratory, Biomedical Sciences Institute, Faculty of Medicine, University of Chile. Lecturer of the Postgraduate Course "Physiology of Occlusion", for students in Orthodontic Specialization Program, Specialization in Oral Rehabilitation and Implantology. Lecturer of Postgraduate Course "Pathophysiological mechanisms involved in the genesis of pain and pharmacological management of neuropathic pain" for students in Endodontics and Periodontics Specialization Program. Responsible Professor undergraduate course in physiology. Teacher Guide of numerous undergraduate and postgraduate thesis. Author and/or co-author of numerous publications in international journals. Guest Lecturer Professor in Argentina (Buenos Aires), Bolivia (Santa Cruz), Colombia (Medellin), Peru (Lima), Guatemala (Antigua), USA (Chicago) Italy (Milan), UK (Cambridge). Member of the International Association for Dental Research.
