Biography

Dr. Raghunandan Yendapally is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of the Incarnate Word, USA. In 2007, he has received Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Medicinal Chemistry) from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis. Dr. Raghunandan Yendapally obtained Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 2001 from the University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kakatiya University, India. After completion of his Ph.D., Dr. Yendapally served as a founding faculty member at the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy, Louisville, KY and Western New England University College of Pharmacy, Springfield, MA. Dr. Yendapally was the recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award in 2009 and 2010 at the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy. In 2012, Dr. Yendapally joined the Feik School of Pharmacy at the University of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio, TX. Dr. Yendapally’s research interests include design, synthesis and structure-activity relationship (SAR) of novel small molecule anti-microbial agents. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and poster presentations.
