Biography

Dr. Przemyslaw T. Paradowski is an orthopaedic surgeon who currently works at the Sunderby Central Hospital of Norrbotten, Sweden. He graduated in medicine from the Military Medical School in Lodz, Poland, where he also had his early part of clinical and academic training and where he received his PhD in 1998. In 2004 he completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the Lund University, Sweden, under the supervision of Professor Stefan Lohmander. Since then his research activity focuses on the investigation of the natural history of the knee and hand osteoarthritis. He then got a position of Assistant Professor at the Department of Reconstruction Surgery and Arthroscopy of the Knee Joint. He received his habilitation in 2012 in Medical University of Lodz, Poland. Since 2006 he alternated between Poland and Sweden working in both, joint replacement and reasearch units. Dr. Paradowski is a member of Societé Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie (SICOT).
