Biography

Dr. Richard Boudreau has dutifully and tirelessly volunteered in various societal and hospital committees over many years, including Peer Review, Anesthesia, Legislative, Ethics, Publication, Risk Management, Bioethics, Palliative Care. He served as Chair of the Ethics Committee for several  years and to has had deal with problematic cases and always come up with the best solutions. He is a proven leader with great success as a maxillofacial surgeon, attorney, forensic expert, and bioethicist. His academic credentials (BS, MA, MBA, DDS, MD, JD, PhD, PsyD) can appropriately be described as ‘Renaissance’ and truly unique. Dr. Boudreau has passionate interests in medicine, law, theology, philosophy, education, and public policy. He especially enjoys analyzing challenging bioethical issues, authoring articles, and teaching this scholarly and profound discipline. He is on the facility of of Loyola Marymount Univ. Bioethics Institute, U.C.L.A. Dept. of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and writes regular ethics columns for Calif. Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Southern Calif. Bioethics Consortium Committee, and is a regular bioethics contributor in several newspapers and magazines regarding controversial topics.
