Biography
Pierluigi is a physician-scientist who graduated from the University of Catania, Medical School where he also earned a PhD in Molecular Endocrinology. He is an adjunct Professor in Biology and genetics at Azusa University, in Los Angeles. He carries more than fifteen years of outstanding experience in the academic and private biotechnology sector leading to international recognition through multiple publications in peer reviewed scientific journals including a personal international fellowship with the American-Italian Cancer Foundation and a US patent related to the development of novel biomarkers and treatments in human cancers. Pierluigi is also a US (ASCP) certified technologist in molecular biology & pathology. His clinical interests relate to pathologies linked to hormonal systems impairment.
Research Interest
Pierluigi main research interests are personalized medicine and genomics in the field of endocrine diseases and cancer
