Biography
Pelekasis Panagiotis holds an MSc in Stress Management and Health Promotion from University of Athens, Medical School and a BSc in Psychology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. As a psychologist he has worked for special education schools and security companies. As a researcher, he has carried out a randomized controlled trial at Sotiria General Hospital and Attikon University Hospital. He has published three papers in peer review journals and served two journals as a reviewer, while currently publishes his first monograph. He hopes that one of his recently published studies regarding the effects of a stress management and health promotion program on cancer patients will be the start of a new trend exploring the impact of such programs on patients’ mental and physical well-being.
