Biography

Mustafa Ates was born in Istanbul and graduated from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty. After receiving his medical degree in 1996, he completed a residency in General Surgery Istanbul Sisli Etfal Research and Training Hospital in 2002.Then he started working at Malatya State Hospital as general surgeon and attained crucial experiences in advanced laparoscopic operations. He attended to Inonu University Medical Faculty as a assistant professor in the year of 2009 and began working at Department of General Surgery, Turgut Ozal Medical Center in Malatya where he investigated living donor liver transplantation under Professor Doctor Sezai Yilmaz. He is a member of Turkish Colon and Rectal Surgery Association, Turkish Association for Endoscopic Laparoscopic Surgery, ands well as The Turkish Surgical Society.
