Biography
Dr. Michael Niederman has received his MD from Boston University in 1977. Currently, he is working as Professor and Vice-Chairman, Department of Medicine in SUNY at Stony Brook University. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Winthrop-University Hospital, in Mineola, NY. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Chest, and Critical Care Medicine. He has authored over 300 research articles/reviews/books. He is a member of The American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians and Society of Critical Care Medicine. He has honoured for his work in pneumonia by several national and international organizations.
