Biography

Masamitsu Yamaguchi received his BS and MS degrees from Kobe University in 1977 and 1979 respectively and the PhD degree in medical science from Osaka University Japan in 1983. From 1983 to 1985 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Biological Chemistry at Harvard Medical School. In 2001 he was a Researcher Senior Researcher and later Section Head in Aichi Cancer Center Research Institute.  Since 2001 he has been a Professor at the Department of Applied Biology and Insect Biomedical Research Center Kyoto Institute of Technology.  He is serving as an Editorial Board member of Journal of Biomedicine and Biotechnology and American Journal of Cancer Research.
