Mahita Kadmiel, M.S., Ph.D., is currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow at the National Institute of Environmental and Health Sciences (NIEHS). She received her PhD in Cell and Molecular Physiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in 2011. Dr. Kadmiel joined NIEHS in March of 2012 and she is currently investigating the role of glucocorticoid receptor signaling in ocular health and disease.
