Biography

She is a Duke University Physician Assistant graduate and have more than 15 years of clinical experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Her experience includes Internal medicine and hospital specialty practice as well as teaching geriatric medicine and long-term care. Her faculty experience includes design and direction of the curriculum on care of older adults and participation in the design and completion of quality improvement projects impacting long-term care. Her background includes healthcare leadership roles at CHESS, Utilization Solutions in Healthcare, Cornerstone Healthcare, Roxboro Family Medicine and Immediate Care, and Duke University Medical Center, as well as teaching appointments at UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University Medical Center. She is particularly strong in transforming volume-based healthcare to value-driven delivery of healthcare services by leveraging my clinical expertise coupled with her business acumen and consulting experience to restructure care delivery teams, coordinate care for risk-stratified patient populations, and orchestrate successful transformations.
