Biography

Liang Tang has over 15 years of relevant industry experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology and more than 26 years of research experience in protein chemistry molecular biology immunology and cell biology. He is currently a Principal Research Scientist II at Bayer HealthCare located at the Richmond, USA, Adjunct Professor, Department of Biology, Xiamen University, China. He worked as a Senior scientist and Principal Scientist in Preclinical Research Department Bayer Biological Division located at the Research Triangle Park North Carolina USA from 2002 to 2005; a Senior scientist form 1995 to 2002 at the Heska Corporation Fort Collins Colorado USA; a Postdoctoral Associate from1991 to 1995 at the Biochemistry Department Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine London UK; a Postdoctoral research fellow from 1989 to 1991 at the Institute of Parasitology McGill University Montreal Canada and a Research assistant from 1982 to 1984 at the Department of Biology, Xiamen University, Fujian, China.
