Biography

Dr. Lawrence Amesse is Professor of Obstetrics/Gynecology and Pediatrics at the Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. His research interest focuses on Abnormal Uterine Bleeding in adolescents with coagulopathies. He has a special interest on endometrial-derived stem cells for derivation of functional platelets. Dr. Amesse holds a Medical Degree from the Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University, and a PhD from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He has had advanced training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as well as Pediatric/Adolescent Gynecology. Dr. Amesse is the author of over sixty peer review journal articles and abstracts.
