Biography

2000: Holds Degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora; 2003-2007: Master’s Degree and a PhD in from Federal University of Minas Gerais; 2007-2009: Postdoctoral Internship at the Department of Parasitology at the University of São Paulo (emphasis: immunology of malaria, study of regulatory T cells in patients with malaria). Current: Associate professor at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, in the Department of Parasitology, Microbiology and Immunology. Has experience in the area of ??Parasitology, with an emphasis on human protozoology, studying the following topics: human malaria, immunoepidemiology human malaria, genetic diversity of Plasmodium falciparum and malaria chemoteria (models in vitro and in vivo).
