Biography
Dr. Jon Ver Halen, MD, FACS is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Surgery, Texas A&M School of Medicine. He is also Associate Program Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency, and Program Director of the Microvascular Surgery Fellowship at Texas A&M School of Medicine.
He is an active member of Plastic Surgery Research Council, American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, American Society for Reconstructive Transplantation, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, North American Skull-Based Society, American Council of Academic Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of American College of Surgeons. He has authored and co-authored about 50 papers in various esteemed journals. He also wrote 3 books. He is an Editorial Board Member for more than 50 reputed journals.
