Biography

Jolanta Kumirska received the PhD. degree from the University of Gdansk, Poland, in 2006. Since this yearshe has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Gdansk. Her research interests include structural analysis of oligo- and polysaccharides, application of spectroscopic techniques for structural elucidation,investigation of biomedical activity of carbohydrates andanalysis of structure-property-activity relationships.Additionally, she is interesting in qualitative and quantitative analyses of natural bioactive compounds and in determination of pharmaceutical residues in environmental samples. She is an author or co-author of more than 30 research works. She is serving as a reviewer for several international journals.
