Research Interest

My long-term career goal is to understand the molecular mechanisms by which thrombosis and inflammation are initiated at the site of vascular injury and to elucidate how both diseases are inter-connected. In addition, we are working on the role of thiol isomerases and protein kinases in regulating the heterotypic platelet-neutrophil interactions during thrombus formation and vascular inflammation
