Biography
Dr. Isabel Gimeno received the degree of Doctor in Veterinary Medicine in 1995 by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and her PhD in 1999 by the same University. In 2002 she became diplomate of the American College of Poultry Veterinarians. Currently, she is working as assistant professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine, North Carolina State University. She is member of several professionals associations and she is serving as an editorial member of the journals Avian Diseases and Journal of Vaccine and Vaccination. In addition, she serves as ad hoc reviewer for Avian Pathology, Vaccine, Veterinary research, Expert Review of Vaccines, and Veterinary Pathology. She has authored 30 research articles, 2 book chapters and coauthor one book and two slides study sets. She has been key note speaker in 25 international meetings. She has received several academic and research awards.
