Biography

Guan Chen was born in 1957 in Anhui China, received his doctor degree in 1990 from University of Heidelberg, Germany. His postdoc training from Dana Farber Cancer Institute Harvard Medical School in 1995. He became an Assistant Professor at Lerner Research Institute Cleveland Clinic Foundation and in 2000 he became an Associate Professor at Loyola University of Chicago tenured in 2003, and in 2006 became a Full Professor, tenured at Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Guan Chen has published over 50 original publications in the field of cancer pharmacology and cancer signaling and the work in his laboratory has been supported by NIH and VA. He has served as Ad hoc member for several study sections of NIH VA DOD as well as several organizations from England Austria and Ireland. Dr. Guan Chen has reviewed the manuscript for Cancer Research Oncogene Blood and many other journals. Currently, he is a Managing Editor for Frontier in Biosciences and a senior Editor for American Journal of Cancer Research
