Biography
Dr. Alencar, specialist in TMD, TMJ and orofacial pain, is currently an Assistant Professor at the Marquette University Dental School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Educated at the Bauru School of Dentistry (University of Sao Paulo, Brazil) and the University of Minnesota, he has worked both in private practice and in academia. Dr. Alencar has recieved numerous grants to study myofascial pain and has authored many publications about his studies.
