Biography

Fabio Angeli holds an M.D. degree and works as a Cardiologist and Biomedical Researcher in the Teaching Hospital "S.M. della Misericordia" of Perugia, Italy. He is an investigator and co-responsible for planning and management of mono-center and multi-center clinical studies on cardiovascular drugs (in connection with hospitals and universities), in addition to medical writing. His main areas of interest include cardiovascular risk assessment in patients with hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, acute coronary syndrome and coronary artery disease using electrocardiography, echocardiography, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and other noninvasive tests, as well as evaluation of cardiovascular treatment. Dr. Angeli is the author of scientific works on cardiovascular disease, acute coronary syndrome, diabetes, and hypertension (including original articles, meta-analyses, reviews, commentaries) published in leading journals including The Lancet, Circulation, Diabetes Care, JACC, Hypertension, J Hypertens, and others. He has participated to several invited lectures and served as a reviewer for leading medical journals and graders for scientific meetings. Dr. Angeli served also as a member of scientific secretary of several ongoing multicenter studies. His biography was included in Who’sWho in Medicine and Healthcare and Who’sWho in Science and Engineering. He is a “Scientific Fellow” of the “Associazione Nazionale Medici Cardiologi Ospedaliari (A.N.M.C.O.)”.
