Biography

Enrico Marinelli, is an Associate Professor of Legal Medicine at the Department of Anatomical, Histological, Legal Medicine and Locomotive Apparatus Sciences, Sapienza University of Rome. He is working in Sapienza University of Rome since 1986. Since 1991 he worked in Policlinico Umberto I of Rome, as assistant MD of medico legal special service. He teaches legal medicine in several courses of the faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine. From 2005 to 2007 he did his research on “Long-term use of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and related therapies (Psychotropic) in menopausal women: cardiovascular effects and systemic role of protein S100 calcium and endothelin” and “Long-term use of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and related therapies (drugs) in menopausal women: cardiovascular effects and systemic” both works concerning the long lasting hormonal therapy and associated therapies in menopausal women. He is author and co-author of many publications in international journals.

Research Interest

Dr. Enrico Marinelli’s current research interests are in forensics, medical malpractice, personal injuries, pain and loss suffering, bioethics, Italian and international medical legislation, especially in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacy field.
