Biography

Elzein Mariam obtained her BSc in Environmental Health 1993 and her MSc in Public Health 1995 from the American University of Beirut. She earned a PhD 2003 in Epidemiology Biostatistics and Occupational Health from McGill University. She then held a research associate position 2003-2005 at the Sainte Justine Hospital under the direction of Dr Claire Infante Rivard. She is now at the final stages of completing her postdoctoral training at the INRS Institut Armand Frappier University du Qubec under the direction of Dr Marie Claude Rousseau Upon completion she is expected to pursue her research career as a research associate in this institution 7 publications abstract reviewer for Canadian Public Health Association official and unofficial reviewer for BioMed Central Cancer Letters Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Allergologia et Immunopathologia
