Biography

Zhan Wang is a professor, doctoral tutor. He graduated from East China Institute of Chemical Technology and obtained a Bachelor's degree in 1987. He was selected as a student for studying abroad during the post-graduate in Department of chemical engineering in Tsinghua University in 1990,He obtained the Ph.D. degree in Russian St. Petersburg Technological University. He joined Beijing University of Technology since September 1995, promoted to professor in 2005, awarded the title of young and middle-aged backbone teachers of Beijing municipal education commission in 2006 and qualified as a doctoral supervisor in 2007. As a visiting research professor, he was studied at George Belfort group in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from March 2009 to March 2010. He hosted many scientific research projects, such as national fund, municipal fund, municipal education commission project, international cooperation projects of ministry of science and technology, and the national fund project between China and Russia. He also worked as editor of a series Chinese journals, such as Technology of Water Treatment (2013.09- ), Separation and purification(2015- ), Membrane Science and Technology (2003.09-2007.09), guest editor of Environment Science and Technology (2009.1-2010.12) etc.
