Biography
Deepak Bhatia is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Northeast Ohio Medical University and an adjunct Professor in the School of Biomedical Sciences at Kent State University. Dr. Bhatia received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences from West Virginia University followed by post-doctoral fellowship from City of Hope in the department of stem cells and leukemia research. During his Ph.D. he received fellowship form National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). His current research is in the area of Pharmaceutical Toxicology, Drug-drug interactions and herbal medication. He serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for many journals and as editorial board member of international journal of pharmaceutical engineering. Dr. Bhatia also serves as an onsite evaluator for Higher Learning Commission.
