Dr. Darren Flower is an interdisciplinary scientist in Aston University. He is an innovative specialist in Bioinformatics, Computational Chemistry, and Cheminformatics, with unique experience of the preclinical research environment in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry. He received his PhD from University of Leeds in the year of 1992 in Molecular Biophysics. He has been Chartered Chemist at Royal Society of Chemistry in year of 1995.
Intersection of drug design and immunology, Immunoinformatics, in silico, in vitro, and in vivo discovery of novel small-molecule adjuvants; epitope identification leveraging a range of techniques; and also the discovery of novel whole protein antigens as candidate vaccines.
