Member of the Steering Committee of the Italian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology from 2009. Secretary of the Italian Study Group on Hymenoptera Venom Allergy from 1994 to 1999. Coordinator of the study groups on Allergen immunotherapy and on Hymenoptera venom allergy of the Italian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology from 2009 to 2014.
His current main research interests are allergen immunotherapy, Hymenoptera venom allergy, food allergy, asthma and COPD.
