Biography

Dr. Azad Shah AKM did his B.Sc.(Hons.) in Fisheries and M.Sc. in Aquaculture from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. he successfully completed his M.Sc and PhD in Marine Life Science FROM Hokkaido University, Japan. Dr. Azad Shah AKM has served as a Scientific Officer for Freshwater Station, Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute, Bangladesh, Lecturer (Fisheries) at School of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bangladesh Open University, Bangladesh and gradually being promoted to Assistant Professor (Fisheries) and to the position of Associate Professor (Fisheries) at the School of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bangladesh Open University, Bangladesh presently. Dr. Azad Shah AKM has a number of publications, patent, paper presentations and scholarships in his tenure of work done for the scientific community. He is quite experienced and has undergone a number of training programs, supervised them and is an active reviewer to some of the renowned journals. He holds membership in quite number of profesional societies also and also has served as the Research Project Reviewer for National Council for Scientific Research, Bucharest, Romania.
