Biography
Dr Nishimura has received her BSC (in Biological Sciences) and PhD (in Genetics) from Institute of Biosciences, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Currently she is working at King’s College London as a postdoctoral research associate working on stem cells to model amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and fronto-temporal dementia.
Research Interest
Cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating ageing and neurodegeneration using stem cells derived from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients.
