Her research focus is on implementing computer aided drug designing and reverse vaccinology approaches to identify potential drug molecules and vaccine candidates, respectively, against various bacterial pathogens. She has been using Molecular modelling, high throughput virtual screening, fragment based screening, QSAR analysis, pharmacophore modelling to propose potential inhibitors against several drug targets. Comparative and pan-genome reverse vaccinology method was implemented successfully to propose common epitope driven vaccines against several bacterial pathogens.
