    The Role and Future of School Nurse in Pakistan

    In the 21st century, the concept of school nurses is new in Pakistan, but in the developed world like the USA there history starts from 1902. National Association of school nurses has explained that a school nurse is “a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being, academic success, and lifelong achievement of students”. The school nurse plays an important role in the health and education system in developed countries and can be a front-line health worker for the children of Pakistan in schools.
