Yunchao Su is currently working at Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Medical College of Georgia,Georgia Regents University, Augusta, GA 30912, USA. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. is the member of many international affiliations.
Research Interest
My research interest is in the regulatory mechanisms of pulmonary circulation and lung injury and repair. The focus is on three areas: protein-protein interaction in lung endothelial signaling, calpain in pulmonary vascular remodeling and angiogenesis, and lung injury and repair in tobacco smoke exposure. Through multidisciplinary approaches at the levels of molecule, cell, organ, and whole body, the goal is to find novel therapeutic strategies and biomarkers for pulmonary hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD), and cor pulmonale.
