Biography

As a Principal Investigator, he has received multiple research grants from the National Institutes of Health, a Scientist Development Grant and Established Investigator Award from the American Heart Association, a Research Award from the American Diabetes Association, and others. He has also served as an editorial board member or section editor for the Clinical and Translational Medicine, Pulmonary Circulation, and several other journals, as well as the executive committee member and/or subcommittee chair for the International Society of Translational Medicine and other professional societies.
