Biography
Dr. Hogan is actively involved in developing nonmyeloablative transplantation techniques for clinical use, and is particularly interested in developing such a strategy for patients with myelofibrosis (agnogenic myeloid metaplasia.The major research focus of William J. Hogan, M.B., B.Ch., relates to nonmyeloablative hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. His specific interests include evaluation of novel post-grafting immunosuppressive regimens to determine safe and effective combinations to achieve mixed chimerism with minimal toxicity.
