Tjoon Tow Teng

Biography

Professor Tjoon Tow Teng received his MSc and PhD in chemical engineering from Universite de Montreal (Canada). His research areas include properties of multicomponent aqueous solutions, acid gas removal, and wastewater treatment technology. Professor Teng has published over 130 papers in peer reviewed scientific journals, chapters in books, and has reviewed numerous manuscripts from many journals. He has organized and attended many international conferences in environmental technology and chemical engineering. He is in the editorial board of Iranica Journal of Energy and Environment and a member of the international advisory board of the World Applied Sciences Journal since 2010. He joined Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia, in 1975 and is currently a professor in the Division of Industrial Technology.
