Biography
Professor heartl since 1988 working in one of the leading institutes for biochemistry and plant biotechnology in Europe (INRA Research Center, Nantes, France), where he directs a research group dedicated to engineering proteins. There is also a respected expert in the Agence Nationale de Securité Sanitarie (France) and the European Food Safety Agency.
In 1976 he received his doctorate at the University. Adam Mickiewicz. It is also received honorary doctorates from the University of Sofia and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
In his scientific activity deals with the biological activity of proteins and peptides and the study of their biological activity, as well as the role of protein receptors in taste.
