Thereza Christina Lopes Coutinho

Biography

Dr. Thereza Christina Lopes Coutinho is a pediatric dentist and orthodontist with a Postdoc in Cariology and a PhD in Pediatric Dentistry from University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of School of Dentistry at Fluminense Federal University in Brazil, where she coordinates Pediatric Dentistry. Furthermore, she is also Head of ZEUS Research Group where she investigates factors related to dental caries and erosion and also the prevention of these diseases.  

Research Interest

Her research interest is on the subject of Cariology, Caries diagnosis, Fluoride, Erosion, Saliva, Oral Microbiology, Oral Pathology in children and Dental Traumatology
