Biography
 tephen G. Schwartz, MD, MBA is Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and Medical Director of the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at Naples. He is a graduate of Cornell University, New York University School of Medicine, and Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. He completed an ophthalmology residency at New York University School of Medicine and a vitreoretinal fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He is the current President of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology. He is an author or co author of over 35 peer reviewed publications and 12 textbook chapters, and he is a co holder of a patent pending entitled Molecular targets for modulating intraocular pressure and differentiation of steroid responders versus non responders.
