Biography

Dr. Varun Pratap Singh completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from prestigious Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India in 2006 with 13 Gold Medals. He secured 4th Rank in Post graduate entrance and studied Orthodontics from the same university. He was awarded the Academic Excellence award by RSS Trust. His dissertation was awarded the third best research of the year 2010 by the Indian Orthodontic Society. He has an additional qualification in Public Health from John Hopkins Bloomberg School, USA and a Post graduate Diploma in Forensic Odontology. He is having a certificate in Research Methodology from prestigious Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar, India. He is the Member of American Dental Association, International Association of Dental Research, World Federation of orthodontics and Indian orthodontic Society. Recently he has been elected as a Fellow of Pierre Fauchard academy and World Federation of Orthodontist. He is currently associated academically with the Department of Orthodontics, Nobel Medical College & Teaching Hospital, Biratnagar, Nepal. He has 50 international publications to his credit and is extensively involved in research. His research interests are craniofacial biology and genetics, psychological aspects of orthodontic treatment, cephalometrics and Orthopedic appliances. He has been on the editorial board of various international journals. He is the peer reviewer of many reputed journals. He has presented at various national and international forums.
