Santiago Roura  Belong to  Umbilical cord blood and mesenchymal stem cells   Department of  Heart Failure and Cardiac Regeneration (ICREC) Research Program  Specialization in different fields  Umbilical cord blood; Mesenchymal stem cells; Endothelial cell; Angiogenesis; Egr-3  is working in the Health Research Institute Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP), Badalona, Spain 
Research Interest
He has actively contributed to a better knowledge of the transdifferentiation of adult stem cells, including those from bone marrow, adipose tissue and umbilical cord blood, to the cardiomyogenic and endothelial lineage, as well as their behavior and function in animal models of myocardial infarction. In this area of research, he is also participating in the development of novel therapeutic approaches based on cardiac tissue engineering
