Biography
 Dr. Williams received his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, and he completed a two year residency in Orthodontics at the University of Oregon. After graduate school, Dr. Williams served for six years as a Major in the US Army on Okinawa, and in Augsburg, Germany. He was Chief of the Orthodontic Service, and he established the first Children’s Dental Clinic in Germany for which he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal. He also served as a consultant to the Cleft Palate Team at Kernan Hospital for twenty-eight years, and he has been elected by his peers to serve in a variety of leadership roles in his profession. These include the Board of Directors of the Baltimore City Dental Society; President of the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists; and Secretary of the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, where he currently serves as Editor of the Journal.
