Biography
He is a Professor and Director NOAA CREST. He received a Doctoral Degree (PhD) from Pennsylvania State University, USA in the year 1983 with immediate Post Doctorate in Water Resources from Pennsylvania State University, USA in the year 1984. He is graduated in Civil Engineering from Pahlavi University, USA in the year 1972-1977 with an immediate MS in Environmental Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, USA in the year 1978-1980. As a Professor, he is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research. His research interests, as a Professor lie in Surface Water Hydraulics and Hydrology, Sediment Transport / Soil Erosion, Water Quality and Quantity Modelling / Non-Point Source Pollution Modelling, Global Change Impact on Watershed Hydrology and Hydraulics, and the Application of Satellite Data and Land-use/Land-cover Changes on Wetlands. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
