Rajeshwar Dayal Tyagi

Biography
Rajeshwar Dayal Tyagi is an assistant professor at the University of Missouri - Columbia (United States). He is a member of the Cercle d'excellence of the Université du Québec as well as of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. He has received numerous awards for his work in environmental biotechnology, including four from the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is also a recipient of the International Water Association's Global Honor Award for Applied Research.
Research Interest
The work of Professor Tyagi and his team focuses on the extraction of heavy metals from municipal sludge and industrial waste by biological processes, the design, analysis and development of bioreactors and the scale-up of industrial microbiological processes.
