Biography

Manoj R. Shah, M.D. is a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Hofstra-North Shore LIJ School of Medicine in Long Island, NY. He received his training in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, at the Elhmurst Hospital Center, in Queens, NY. He was the Director of the Crisis Intervention Center and later Director of the Outpatient Department in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Schneider Children’s Hospital in NY. Later, he was the Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He is currently in private practice. He has given numerous presentations and participated in seminars dealing with mental health issues and has supervised and taught courses in child and adolescent psychiatry. He has published in peer reviewed journals and has authored chapters in several books.
