Biography
He is a Research Associate at Centre for Ecological Sciences (CES) Field Station, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Kumta, India. He received a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Marine Biology from KUPG Centre, Kodibhag, Karwar, India in the year 2004-2009.  He has done Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Biology, Chemistry from R.V. Teachers College, Bangalore, India in the year 1996-1997 with an immediate post-graduation in Marine Biology from KUPG Centre, Karwar, India in the year 2001-2003.  He is serving as Research Associate at CES, IISc Field Station at Kumta from 2010 to present. He is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research. His research interests lie in Coastal & Estuarine Ecology, Benthos, GIS, Coastal Management, Ecosystem Valuation, Mangroves. His area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
