Biography

Philippe Vézin is Research Director at the LBMC (Laboratory of Biomechanics and Mechanics of Shocks - UMRT IFSTTAR - Université Lyon 1) in the Transport, Health, Safety department of the French Institute of Transport and Planning Sciences and Technologies and networks. In charge of a research project on the Experimentation of Autonomous Shuttles, he is Chairman of the Academic Research Steering Committee of Transpolis (Fromentaux site) - City of scale 1 laboratory for new mobility. His research fields are road safety, the protection of road users and the use of autonomous vehicles.
