Biography
Payel Sil, Ph.D., is fellow in the Inflammation and Autoimmunity in the Division of Immunity, Inflammation, and Disease Laboratory, National Institute of Environmental Sciences (NIEHS), Durham, NC. Sil has gained expertise in Autophagy, Immunology, Cell Death, Inflammation, Clinical and Translational Research. Her current projects involve investigating the role of non-canonical autophagy in efferocytosis relevant in skin inflammation and tumor development.
